It is 15 years since I had a dedicated office myself and I have first hand experience of the challenges of working as part of a virtual team. Technology is a key enabler, but it is important to address the people and process issues to make it work.
During my 20 year career in the IT and communications sector, I have held both operational roles (sales, marketing and service) and consultancy roles (business strategy and business process/change). I have worked with private sector companies such as Vodafone, Accenture, Sony and NCR and a wide range of public sector organisations such as DCSF, Housing Associations (RSL's), London Universities and Business Link. This wealth of experience means that I am well placed to help organisations to introduce right time, right place working.
