Ken Cooper has an educational background which majored on Information Technology. He left University with a doctorate, and spend the bulk of his working life in big business, moving through many departments and functions. In 1996 he left to form his own company, assisting small and medium-sized businesses to solve their problems in marketing and the use of IT.
Ken has experience of working remotely, the last few years of his employment covered the introduction of flexible working hours, PCs for all, the laptop computer and mobile phones. As a small business himself, he is used to working from home, with all the problems that that brings, and the need to operate effectively without an IT department.
The ethos of Ken is not technology alone but that of technology and business working together to help companies get it right when selecting and using their ICT systems. Businesses need reassurance that the ICT systems and processes they invest in and deploy are going to be the best and most efficient for their specific needs, especially small and medium-sized businesses.
